Kickstand is dedicated exclusively to supporting small and start-up technology companies in Boise. Kickstand provides access to a community of peers, resources, industry leaders, and critical information that will help emerging and growing high-tech companies succeed.

Kickstart is an annual event to bring Idaho's resources for entrepreneurs together in one place to inform, educate, and inspire Idaho's current and future stars to move down the path of success.

The Idaho Office of Science & Technology within the Idaho Commerce and Labor Department focuses on assisting technology companies, building partnerships and programs, fostering infrastructure and research, and developing the state's technology image nationally and internationally.

Washington State Technology Alliance is a statewide organization of leaders from Washington's diverse high-tech businesses, research institutions, and the community dedicated to Washington's economic success.

Sustainable Development

The Integrated Design Lab [IDL] is dedicated to the development of high performance buildings in Idaho and Eastern Oregon. The IDL is sustained by grants from the Northwest Energy Efficiency Alliance's (NEEA) BetterBricks program, Idaho Power, The Idaho Energy Division, as well as matching funds by the University of Idaho and project clients. IDL is operated by the University of Idaho and is located in Boise, ID.

LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is a voluntary, consensus-based program for developing high-performance, sustainable buildings.
Representing every sector of the building industry, LEED provides a complete framework for assessing building performance and meeting sustainability goals. Based on well-founded scientific standards, LEED emphasizes state of the art strategies for sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection and indoor environmental quality.

The Sustainable Business Network of Portland (SBNP) is a nonprofit network of local triple-bottom-line businesses and social entresbnplogopreneurs. We believe that local businesses play a key role in shaping our community and making it a good place to live and work.
The Sustainable Business Network of Portland's initial goal is to build a strong local network of community-based businesses, non-profit organizations and supportive individuals, which can provide a basis for fostering a truly sustainable local economy in the Portland metropolitan area.

Sustainable Connections is a business network of nearly 400 members in numerous industries, including retail, farming, building, manufacturing, and professional services. The business members are all local and independently owned, and are committed to establishing a strong Local Living Economy by supporting Strong Community, a Healthy Natural Environment, Meaningful Employment, and Buying Local First.
